November 2, 2003 - Teacher Registration Ends [11:59:59 PM ET]
If you would like to have your students submit forecasts for the competitive phase of the 2003 Flight Forecast program, you must register by November 2, 2003, 6:00PM EST.
November 3, 2003 - Forecasting Begins [8:00:01 AM ET]
You'll need your registration information in order to submit forecasts for your students. Students will NOT submit any contact information or even their full names. The registered teacher will be the point-of-contact for recognizing and celebrating the most accurate forecasts.
November 17, 2003 - Forecasting Ends [11:59:59 PM ET]
When a forecast is submitted, it will be timestamped. You will be able to change the forecast up until forecasting closes on November 17. However, students should be encouraged to make their first submission as accurate as possible because timestamps will be used in the event of a tie.
December 17, 2003 - Actual Weather Recorded
The eyes of the world will be on Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. What will the weather be?
December 19, 2003 - Most Accurate Forecasters Announced
The most accurate forecasters will be announced online. Registered teachers will be the point-of-contact.
