MISSION
- Operate and manage the Eagle Laboratory and Test Center (ELTC) in support of DISA acquisition and sustainment programs.
FUNCTIONS
- Provides operations services to allow multi-shift availability of the ELTC.
- Engineers the hardware and software platforms that support test, engineering, integration, data distribution, and deployment activities at the ELTC.
- Controls allocation of resources, including power, floor space, and other IT support services for application/projects using the ELTC.
- Provides LAN/WAN networking management and maintains vital data communications links that support DISA activities and external DISA customers.
- Provides technical support to other DISA organizations within the ELTC to accomplish the implementation of DoD net-centric environments.
- Provides systems administration and data distribution for the ELTC supporting net-centric program test systems and other operational DISA and DoD IT programs.
- Evaluates and procures hardware and software for ELTC mission activities.
- Analyzes emerging technologies for their potential impact/benefits on net-centric systems and application within the ELTC.
- Provides ELTC property accountability in accordance with DISA policies and procedures.
- Provides security oversight to maintain physical and system integrity of the ELTC.
- Provides budget, technical, and action officer support to TE1 in support of their mission activities.
