MISSION

Provide world-class architecture, system engineering and end-to-end analytical support for DISA and its customers, ensuring integrated capabilities in support of warfighter mission requirements.

FUNCTIONS

  • Support the development and consistency of DoD's Global Information Grid (GIG) Architectures and ensure that critical GIG programs are consistent with them and with each other.
  • Develop standard DISA systems engineering and integration processes, and improve systems integration across DISA for all DISA-developed systems and services.
  • Develop, maintain, and support enforcement of DoD's standards profile (Joint Technical Architecture), ensuring that its standards are relevant to the evolving GIG Enterprise Services and DoD's future needs.
  • Provide the underlying modeling and simulation, and analytical support for end-to-end DISA and DoD systems engineering and assessment.
