System Lag Time Due to Apache Intake Servlet
On Thursday June 12 and Friday June 13, applicants may have experienced “lag time” when trying to submit grant applications. Our analysis discovered the system's Apache Intake Servlet and Adobe forms were not configured for optimal performance. The Apache Intake Servlet is a web server that powers and supports the large-scale, mission-critical functions of Grants.gov. The software configuration did not adversely affect the integrity of the application data or submission process. To ensure this issue does not occur again, the Grants.gov PMO has identified and removed the system software configuration that affected Adobe application submissions.
