MISSION

The ADNET program's mission is the implementation of information systems, technologies, and services at the secret and sensitive-but-unclassified level for Department of Defense, federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement and partnering nations.

ADNET supports the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for counternarcotics and its mission of counter-narcoterrorism, including:

  • Statutory detection and monitoring
  • Demand reduction activities
  • Support to domestic and host nation law enforcement
  • Other missions that support the war on terrorism, readiness, national security, and security cooperation goals

ADNET provides application and customer enclave services to the counter-narcoterrorism communities of interest.

CUSTOMER ENCLAVE SERVICE

ADNET provides start-to-finish support to customer enclaves for ADNET installations in support of counter-narcoterrorism. It also enhances information sharing by:

  • Integrating, securing, and installing hardware and software
  • Installing local area network communications
  • Monitoring and maintaining a customer enclave suite of equipment
  • Ensuring security of customer enclave through security scans, IAVA updates, and STIG implementation
  • Implementing and maintaining firewall's
  • Implementing cross-domain solutions
  • Providing certification and accreditation support to include connection approval process documentation, systems security authorization agreement documentation, and security test and evaluation
  • Providing onsite and classroom training

ADNET has an established operational continuity of operations to ensure that all customer enclave services remain operational, no matter the circumstances.
