Physical Address

Our office is on the fourth floor of the Cannon House Office Building in Room 432. The Cannon House Office Building is located on Independence Avenue between New Jersey Avenue and First Street Southeast in Washington, DC. From the Metro (Subway)

Take the Blue or Orange line to Capitol South Metro station. After ascending the escalators from the Metro station, turn left on First St. Southeast and walk up a slight hill. From Washington Reagan National Airport

Follow signs for Airport Exit. Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway North (GW PKWY N). Merge onto I-395 North towards Washington. Take the exit for the U.S. House. Go through the tunnel, and stay in the left lane. At the end of the ramp, take a left on Washington Avenue. Take a right on Independence Avenue. Continue three blocks until New Jersey Avenue Southeast. The Cannon Building is on the right on Independence Avenue between New Jersey Avenue and First Street Southeast.

From Washington Dulles International Airport

Follow signs for Airport Exit/Dulles Airport Access Road. Merge onto Dulles Airport Access Road and continue for approximately 14 miles. Merge onto VA-267 East. VA-267 East becomes I-66 East. Merge onto Jefferson Davis Highway/VA-110 South via exit number 75 towards the Pentagon/Alexandria. Take the I-395/US-1 North ramp towards Washington. Merge onto I-395 North. Take the exit for the U.S. House. Go through the tunnel, and stay in the left lane. At the end of the ramp, take a left on Washington Avenue. Take a right on Independence Avenue. Continue three blocks until New Jersey Avenue Southeast. The Cannon Building is on the right on Independence Avenue between New Jersey Avenue and First Street Southeast.

From the South (Virginia)

From I-395 North. Take the exit for the U.S. House. Go through the tunnel, and stay in the left lane. At the end of the ramp, take a left on Washington Avenue. Take a right on Independence Avenue. Continue three blocks until New Jersey Avenue Southeast. The Cannon Building is on the right on Independence Avenue between New Jersey Avenue and First Street Southeast.

From the North (Maryland)

From I-95 take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway towards Washington. At end of Baltimore-Washington Parkway stay straight, road will become Route 50 West. Take a left on North Capitol Street. Continue to end of North Capitol Street. Take a left on D Street Northeast. Right on First Street Northeast. Continue 3 blocks down First Street (US Capitol on your right). Take a right on Independence Avenue. The Cannon Building is on the left on Independence Avenue between New Jersey Avenue and First Street Southeast.

Parking

There are no public parking lots near the Cannon Office Building. A very limited number of street side spaces may be available (two hour limit) in the surrounding neighborhoods. There is a private parking garage at Union Station, located three-fourths of a mile north of the Cannon House Office Building. Metro (subway) is probably the best way to reach the Cannon Building. If you plan on driving, be prepared to walk several blocks.
