With a population of more than 63,000, Flower Mound encompasses approximately 46 square miles. Located in southern Denton County, the Town is just five miles north of the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Airport. One of the area’s featured attractions, Grapevine Lake, falls into the jurisdiction of the Town.
Purpose and Method
The men and women of the Flower Mound Police Department work together to provide excellent service to the community. They are accepted as trusted professional members of the community. With more than 125 full-time employees, the Police Department has employment opportunities for both sworn and civilian positions. Members of the Flower Mound Police Department are provided with up to date equipment and receive extensive year-round skill development through training and outside educational opportunities.
