Events

This fall, FOUND Magazine point guard Davy Rothbart rockets to some of FOUND’s capitol cities, from which we receive the most finds. FOUND treasures in tow, he’ll fire up the engines and blast from the East Coast to the Midwest and out to the West Coast for FOUND’s Re-Ignition Tour “2014!”, which celebrates the release of our newest volume: FOUND Magazine: The Early Years.

At each exhilarating show, Davy will share the latest magical and mesmerizing finds that’ve landed in the mailbox here at FOUND HQ, plus outrageous tales from his book, My Heart is an Idiot, and essays from his work on This American Life. Special guests will appear in certain cities, see full details below. Come on out and join us for these dazzling, fun-filled events!! Please bring your finds to share, and please let your friends in other cities know that we’re headed their way!!

See you on the road!

From the Tony-nominated co-creator of [title of show] and the creative team of the nationally renowned Story Pirates, Atlantic Theater Company is proud to present this vibrant new musical.

FOUND was created from scores of surprising and eccentric discarded notes and letters that have been “found” in the real world by every-day people. Inspired by actual events, the show follows Davy who, along with his two best friends, is lost and broke. When he finds a strangely revealing note on his windshield meant for someone else, it sparks an outlandish idea that finds him and his compatriots on a wild, comedic journey. This raucous and insightful new musical tells a story of ambition, betrayal and loyalty while celebrating the weirdness in all of us.
