Update: I-35 In Georgetown Open After Fatal Accident

4:25 p.m. UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Ricardo Miranda Jr. of Seguin.

7:20 a.m. UPDATE: All lanes of I-35 have opened after an early morning fatal accident in Georgetown.

The Georgetown Police Department is investigating a fatal accident on Interstate 35.
The accident happened at the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 at Lakeway Drive around 4 a.m. Wednesday morning. at SH-29.
Police say the accident was a single car accident.
All lanes of northbound I-35 are shut down and cars are exiting onto the frontage road
