Central Florida Chef John Rivers is taking his new fried chicken concept a step further — with breakfast.

The Coop in Winter Park announced today it will begin serving breakfast Oct. 23. The breakfast menu will be available Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m.-10 a.m.

The restaurant at 610 W. Morse Blvd. is Rivers' new concept that opened in April. Rivers, who is known for his popular 4 Rivers Smokehouse chain, previously said he planned to serve breakfast at the Winter Park restaurant after he had confidences in lunch and dinner service.

The Coop's breakfast menu will use local suppliers like Lake Meadows Farm for the egg dishes. The new dining option also gives locals a new place to take your clients to breakfast.
Some must-try breakfast menu items include:

• Southern Poutine: Crispy french fries, covered with melted cheese, sausage gravy and topped with a fried egg

• The King French Toast: Peanut butter, banana and honey sandwiched between two slices of French toast

• Low Country Omelet: Sautéed Gulf Coast shrimp & smoked Andouille sausage in a spicy red sauce over a bed of Anson Mills grits

• Tamale Pancake Topped with Pulled Pork

• Sweet Potato and Pecan Pancake
