Public company buys Palm Beach County nursing home for $41M

An affiliate of American Realty Capital Healthcare Trust bought the NuVista Living at Wellington Green skilled nursing and assisted living facility in Wellington.

Chatsworth Real Estate Investors, led by Paul Walczak, sold the 172-unit facility for $40.83 million to ARHC NVWELFL01 LLC, an affiliate of the Jenkintown, Pa.-based REIT (NYSE: HCT). Chatsworth isn't going anywhere, as its leased the property for 15 years from the buyer.

Located at 10330 NuVista Ave., NuVista was developed on the 2.4-acre site in 2011.
