Pros

Glassdoor's culture is very collaborative with great people. There's a high level of autonomy and trust to make an impact. Love my coworkers and miss being in the office together!

Cons

Like most companies right now, burnout is high. Leadership is addressing with company days off and managing expectations and workload. Indeed partnership is great and tough at the same time.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Glassdoor (United States) in Sep 2020

    Interview

Efficient, personable and very informative. The recruiter always stayed in touch and kept me updated and the team really expedited the process with me as I was dealing with multiple offers. They were transparent throughout and very clear about the role itself.

Whiteboarding: How would you redesign a grocery shopping app ? For Designers: Be ready to explain your WHY vs. the WHAT. Storytelling and metrics are also highly valued and important.

What are perks and other benefits like at Glassdoor?

...it certainly makes it easier but if we are not considering a competitive perks & benefits package in addition to our "hot new office in the city" this will only get us the average candidate that can't get hired at other hot companies/startups in the city....
