Printing Instructions

 

Printing from Library Computer Stations
  1. Log in with your EUID and Password to a library computer and open the file you want to print.
  2. Find the print command in the program’s menu or taskbar.
  3. The printer selection defaults to LibraryPrintingBW. For color printing, select LibraryPrintingColor.
  4. Adjust other printer settings as needed.
  • Windows: printing is double-sided by default but can be changed in the printer settings.
  • Mac: Save as a PDF and use Adobe Acrobat DC to select double-sided printing.
  1. Click Print. When the Login box appears, log in again, then click OK.
  2. When the Print Job Confirmation box appears, confirm printing cost and click Yes.
  3. In the Print Job Notification box, confirm the print job actions and click print.
  4. Locate the printing location for the printer you selected. Release the document with your login. 
Printing from Personal Device or Web Printing
  1. Log into your Printing Account.
  2. Click on the Web Print tab on the left side of the page. 
  3. Click on Submit a Job.
  4. You will find the list of printing locations.
  5. Select the appropriately named printer

  1. Enter the amount of copies desired and click on Upload Documents.
  2. Drag the document you are choosing to print onto Drag files here or select Upload from computer.  
  3. After selecting the document, click on Upload & Complete. 
  4. Locate the printing location for the printer you selected. Release the document with your login. 

Scanning Instructions

 

Scanning with Adobe
  1. From the start menu (PC) or application list (Mac), select the Adobe Acrobat DC program. Your UNT Login may be required.  
  2. Place the document face down, top forward, on the scanner.
  3. To scan as a PDF file, click File, then select Create, and then the PDF from Scanner option before choosing your color mode. 
  4. Select the scanner drive if prompted and adjust other scan properties as needed. 
  5. Click Scan. 
  6. A prompt will ask if the scan is complete, or if you would like to scan more pages before creating the file. Make your selection and click OK.
  7. To save the file once scanning is finished, click File, go to Save As, and select where to save from the Choose a Different Folder option. 
Scanning with VueScan
  1. From the desktop or start menu, locate the VueScan program and open.
  2. Place the document face down, top forward, on the scanner.
  3. Adjust the settings as needed in the input menu on the left. For multiple document scans, select PDF as the file type. 
  4. Select the option to preview or scan and wait for the scan to be completed. Scan, crop, or use the Scan + option to add pages if needed.
  5. Click Save when finished and choose a location to save the file.
