Chief Financial Officer

Dan Tenney joined the UNT System in 2019 as Vice Chancellor for Finance and Chief Financial Officer after spending 27 years with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In his role at the UNT System, Tenney oversees the UNT System’s $1.3 billion budget and serves as the organization’s chief financial officer optimizing services across institutions including budgeting and planning, accounting, investments, shared services, procurement, and the historically underutilized business program.
