Enterprise Technology Services
Enterprise Technology Services is responsible for enterprise architecture and planning; data communications; voice communications; web services and content management; servers, storage and backup; data centers and operations; database management; directory services; end user support; performance and service management; and asset management.
Enterprise Applications
The staff of the Enterprise Applications division of IT Shared Services are committed to helping the UNT System campuses accomplish their mission and strategic goals, whether it’s working with the University of North Texas as it pursues its Four Bold Goals, the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth as it works toward its mission to improve Texans’ quality of life through education, research, clinical care and community engagement; or the University of North Texas at Dallas as it serves the city of Dallas and to move toward its Vision 2020.

Management and Risk Services
Management and Risk Services is responsible for overseeing compliance and risk management functions that support IT functions across the UNT System. The goals of this division are to ensure that IT services and systems are administered in a manner that complies with regulatory, legal and policy requirements. The functions supporting this goal include IT policy administration; compliance administration; risk management; regulatory assessment; IT planning; vendor management and contract administration; enterprise software license administration; information security; business continuity and disaster recovery planning; information services and resource support; professional development services; and IT training coordination.
North Texas Scientific Computing
As a part of UNT's core facilities and strategic services, NTSC is responsible for helping researchers unlock a wide range of computational resources to solve the most challenging science problems. The NTSC team promotes and supports the efficient use of scientific computing and data analytics capabilities for research and training. Services include design of computing equipment, installing and managing experimental software for applied computing, training emerging researchers, facilitating research and grant collaborations, and developing a technically competent and skilled workforce.
IT Business Services
IT Business Services provides coordination and staff support for IT planning, budgeting, employee services and related functions.
