Assistant Vice Chancellor Wanda Boyd

Wanda Boyd supports each campus and System Administration while collaborating with UNT’s Office of Equal Opportunity. Her more than 22 years of experience spans the full spectrum of human resources. Starting her career with training and organizational development, her most recent experience focuses on federal and state law compliance (to include a particular focus on Title IX and Title VII) and overall employment relations with a dedication to investigations, mitigating grievances and developing strategic solutions and recommendations. She also has a passion for policy review and implementation. She understands it is a continuous, collective journey for achieving measures of success in equity, diversity and inclusion, and champions a focus in each of these crucial spaces, including in 2020 forming and leading an ED&I Advisory Group, and developing the ED&I Compass, a scorecard designed to help UNT World employees and teams achieve equity and inclusive excellence (which emanated from the first ED&I Task Force). The UNT System is committed to the promotion of ED&I initiatives. Boyd has a Bachelor's degree in English, and holds PHR and SHRM-CP certification. She is co-based at the Lee F. Jackson System Building in downtown Dallas and the University of North Texas at Dallas.
