Brett Sheats
As National Project Director, Brett Sheats manages all aspects of EARN’s operations, coordinating closely with its staff, partners and funding entity, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, to ensure all events and activities further its mission to help employers to recruit, hire, retain and advance qualified employees with disabilities.

Kim Brussell
Kim Brussell coordinates all activities related to EARN’s “voice,” including its newsletter, social media presence, website and publications. She also plays a significant role in its webinars and outreach events, working with a variety of organizations to ensure employers can access the resources they need to make their workplaces more inclusive of people with disabilities.
Mike Caprara
Mike Caprara is EARN’s “techie,” managing its online presence and events, including the AskEARN.org website, electronic communications and calendar of events. He also handles the technical side of all webinars and other distance learning events, which help employers across the nation stay abreast of timely trends and topics in disability employment.
Christina Eisenberg
Christina Eisenberg is the first touchpoint for all employer technical assistance requests and helps connect employers to the disability employment resources they need. She responds to each phone and email inquiry, matches private sector employers with qualified job candidates through the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP.jobs) and coordinates all technical assistance requests, including customized trainings, public webinars and conferences.
Sheryl Buchel
Sheryl Buchel handles accounting, budgeting and financial reporting for EARN to its funding entity, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy. As part of this, she works closely with the National Project Director and each of EARN’s partners to ensure outcomes align with allotted resources.
Dinah Cohen
Dinah Cohen lends expertise to EARN’s work in the federal arena, attending events, developing materials and delivering customized trainings to assist agencies in ensuring the federal workforce reflects the diverse citizenry its serves, which of course includes people with disabilities. She has particular expertise in accessibility and accommodations for employees with disabilities, veterans and wounded warriors.
Derek Shields
A seasoned trainer and educator, Derek Shields is EARN’s direct link with employers requesting customized technical assistance and training for their organizations. In this capacity, he prepares customized trainings for organizations across the country, delivering them both in-person and remotely.
