About AMPAC

AMPAC is the bipartisan political action committee of the American Medical Association. AMPAC’s mission is to find and support candidates for Congressional offices, whether it is a new candidate for office who will make physicians and patients a top priority, or a candidate running for re-election who has proven to be a friend of medicine.

Slots Remaining for 2011 AMPAC Candidate Workshop!

Slots are still available for the 2011 AMPAC Candidate Workshop Candidate Workshop, to be held on February 18-20, in Arlington, VA. The Workshop is designed for AMA members and their spouses who are considering a run for public office, and includes training on campaign strategy and media advertising, as well as hands-on sessions in public speaking and fundraising. All costs for AMA members, except transportation to the Washington, DC metro area, are borne by AMPAC, which is a tremendous value for AMA membership.
