Beginning December 8, 2020 at 7:00 a.m., all people entering the Slovak Republic who have been physically present only within the European Union, Great Britain, Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein, and Switzerland in countries OTHER THAN those on the “green low-risk” list during the previous 14 days, must present at the border a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within the prior 72 hours OUTSIDE of Slovakia.  OTHERWISE, they must remain in home quarantine or at a quarantine accommodation facility when ordered, UNTIL:

    • a) receipt of a negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19 taken on or after the fifth day of home isolation; OR 10 days of home isolation are complete AND all people in the household remain asymptomatic. All people in a household must remain in isolation until the traveler’s quarantine ends.

    • a) receipt of a negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19 taken after the fifth day of home isolation. All people in a household must remain in isolation until the traveler’s quarantine ends.
    • Note that COVID-19 testing at the Ukrainian border has been suspended. For information about who may enter Slovakia from the Ukrainian border, please see information about arrival through the external border.
