  • Country-Specific Information:
    • The Department of State has issued a Global Level 4 Health Advisory advising U.S. citizens to reconsider travel abroad due to the global impact of COVID-19.
    • The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) has no confirmed cases of COVID-19 within its borders.
  • Entry and Exit Requirements:
    • The RMI has suspended all incoming international travelers via air until June 5, 2020
    • All domestic passenger air travel between Kwajalein and Majuro is suspended on international airlines. Air travel between Kwajalein and Majuro is only permitted on Air Marshall Islands.
    • All cruise ships and yachts are suspended from visiting the RMI until further notice. Fishing vessels that have transited through or departed COVID-19 infected countries are suspended from entering RMI ports until further notice.
    • All passengers arriving to the RMI and residents departing the RMI must show documentation of an up-to-date measles vaccination (i.e., in line with CDC recommendations) or a signed doctor’s note indicating contraindication.  
  • Quarantine Information:
    • The RMI government announced on February 15, 2020 the construction of a new eight-bed isolation unit to be built and ready within the next 30 days
