The National Brownfields Training Conference is the largest event in the nation focused on land revitalization and economic development. The 2021 National Brownfields Conference will feature over 100 educational sessions, trainings, and site tours. You are invited to submit ideas for panels, roundtables, and topic talks that will motivate brownfields stakeholders to engage, learn, and share their experiences and knowledge of community revitalization challenges and solutions.

FY 2022 Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP)
The Department of Defense's (DoD) Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) released a solicitation on January 7, 2021, requesting pre-proposals for innovative technology demonstrations that address DoD environmental and installation energy requirements as candidates for funding. Researchers from Federal organizations, universities, and private industry can apply for ESTCP funding. All proposals must respond to a Topic Area associated with the solicitation. ESTCP projects are formal demonstrations in which innovative technologies are rigorously evaluated. ESTCP demonstrations are conducted at DoD facilities and sites to document improved efficiency, reduced liability, improved environmental outcomes, and cost savings. The due date for all pre-proposals is March 4, 2021 by 2:00 p.m. ET. The ESTCP Director, Deputy Director, and Program Managers will conduct an online seminar on January 21, 2021.

Superfund Hazardous Substance Research and Training Program (P42)
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is continuing the Superfund Hazardous Substance Research and Training Program, referred to as Superfund Research Program (SRP) Centers. SRP Center grants will support problem-based, solution-oriented research Centers that consist of multiple, integrated projects representing both the biomedical and environmental science disciplines. The Center cores are tasked with administrative (which includes research translation), data management and analysis, community engagement, research experience and training coordination, and research support functions. The application deadline is February 15, 2021.

Superfund Remedy Report, 16th Edition
EPA prepares the Superfund Remedy Report to provide information and analyses on remedies EPA selected to address contamination at Superfund National Priorities List and Superfund Alternative Approach sites. This report is the latest in a series, prepared since 1991, on Superfund remedy selection. The latest edition focuses on the analysis of Superfund remedial actions selected in fiscal years 2015, 2016 and 2017.
