As across American sectors, the COVID -19 pandemic has challenged the Federal workforce to respond and continue to perform under unique and often very difficult circumstances. With the 2020 OPM Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (OPM FEVS), OPM took advantage of an opportunity to learn how agencies have supported employees as they continued to strive toward essential missions to serve the American people during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 survey has also provided an important opportunity to inform future emergency polices and actions.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announced today that for plan year 2021, the average total premiums for current non-Postal employees and retirees enrolled in plans under the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program will increase 3.6 percent. This year’s increase is lower than last year’s increase.
