How to Contact Us
The American Citizen Services unit has suspended routine operations in the interest of public health safety during the current Lebanese Government lockdown due to COVID-19. Appointments for routine services for U.S. citizens are being postponed and will be rescheduled when the lockdown has ended. ACS remains remain open for emergency services only. U.S. citizens with emergency situations may contact BeirutACS@state.gov to request an appointment. The U.S. Embassy will send an updated message when routine consular operations resume and post this information on the Embassy website.
Business Hours
We are open Monday through Friday, between 7:30 to 16:00, excluding the following:
- U.S. and Lebanese public holidays
- The second Wednesday and the last Friday of each month.

Some countries require your passport to be valid for 6 months before you travel. Before you travel please look up your destination’s requirements at travel.state.gov.
