The position serves as a Senior Innovation Specialist in the Digital Strategy Directorate within the Digital Innovation Lab (LC Labs) service unit of the Library of Congress. The position reports directly to the LC Labs Chief who provides administrative and policy direction concerning overall project priorities and objectives.

This role is one of two Innovation Specialists who will support the Library in providing computational access to digital Library collections as part of a grant funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation entitled “Computing Cultural Heritage in the Cloud” (CCHC). This effort will help produce models for supporting cloud-based research computing, and will make the costs and possibilities of this work more transparent to the broader cultural heritage community.
