Copyright Office Extends Deadline for Comments in Small Claims Study by One Day

The Copyright Office has extended the deadline for submission of comments in its small claims study to January 17, 2012. The study examines how copyright owners have handled small copyright claims and the obstacles they have encountered, as well as potential alternatives to the current legal system that could better accommodate such claims. The previously announced deadline, January 16, is a federal holiday (birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.). For more information on the small claims study, go to www.copyright.gov/docs/smallclaims/.
