Presidents Day hours of operation

The Fayetteville VAMC Emergency Department will remain OPEN on Feb. 18, 2013 to serve Veterans. The Dialysis Center will also remain OPEN to serve Veterans from 6:45 am to 4:30 pm.  The medical center clinics, Village Green and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics will be CLOSED on Presidents Day, a Federal holiday.  Clinics and services will resume normal hours of operation at all sites of care on Feb. 19.

VA/DOD Rehabilitation Clinic

VA and DOD are joining forces to bring a $6.7 million state-of-the-art Community Rehabilitation Clinic to the Fayetteville area. The clinic will provide outpatient services for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology. It is estimated that the new clinic will support about 62,000 visits per year. Fayetteville VAMC together with Womack Army Medical Center will work together on selecting a site for the new clinic. Full Story

Telehealth for Chronic Pain

In an effort to increase awareness of other treatment options offered to Veterans at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, a Facility Pain Committee has been looking at creating a multi-disciplinary Pain Clinic to provide treatments ranging from physical therapy to interventional anesthesiology for Veterans suffering from chronic pain.  Full Story
