Under the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, many retailers and manufacturers doing business in the state of California are required to disclose their efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking within their direct supply chain. We support the goals of the Act, and our disclosures and those of our parent company, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, are included collectively at the Goodyear California Transparency in Supply Chain Disclosure site.  There are, however, certain differences in scope between our activities and those of Goodyear as noted at the above site.  Although certain materials are procured from third parties, our primary sourcing activities relate to the purchase of finished products such as casings, treads and tires from Goodyear.  Accordingly, we rely on Goodyear’s efforts with respect to risk based assessments, related supplier certifications and the conduct of audits as described in the above disclosures.
