Dyplast manufactures polyisocyanurate (polyiso or PIR) for both mechanical pipe & equipment insulation and architectural panel applications. Our ISO-C1® products are available in an array of densities, and meet or exceed the new, more demanding requirements of ASTM C591-15. ISO-C1/2.5 meets CINI 2014, the dominant international standard governing low-temperature applications, including LNG (liquid natural gas) facilities. We differentiate ourselves with full-disclosure of information, backed up by independent, third party verifications.
ISO-C1/2.0 is listed with Factory Mutual (FM) as a Specification Tested Identified Component - Combustible Core for Insulated Building Panels under FM 4880. The physical properties of our ISO-C1 line of products are independently tested and audited.
ISO-C1 polyiso insulation is the superior insulation for temperatures ranging from -297°F to +300°F (-183°C to +149°C):
- cryogenic pipe and equipment insulation [e.g. liquid natural gas (LNG), liquid oxygen (LOX)]
- refrigeration piping insulation [e.g. ammonia and CO2], and
- chilled water pipe insulation.
ISO-C1 has double the thermal resistivity of cellular glass, comparable moisture resistance, and has lower material as well as installed costs. ISO-C1's thermal resistance is better than aerogels (Cryogel® Z) at LNG temperatures.
We invite you to review our Technical Bulletins that simplify the issues faced when selecting an insulant, and offer comparisons between Dyplast's polyisocyanurate and cellular glass, extruded polystyrene (XPS), aerogels, elastomerics, fiberglass, and more.
ISO-HT® polyiso is specifically tailored for higher temperature pipe and equipment insulation - - up to 350°F (177°C) continuous and 375°F (191°C) intermittent. ISO-HT is ideal for hot water, low temperature steam and process lines.
With zero-perm DyPerm® Wrap vapor barrier and DyPerm Tape, we provide a complete Insulation System.
