REPORTS TO CONGRESS

The Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act and 28 USC 524 (c) requires that the reports listed below be provided to Congress and made available to the public at the end of each fiscal year. The summary-level reports reflect Asset Forfeiture Program annual statistics including Assets Forfeiture Fund (AFF) expenditures and deposits, as well as Official Use and Equitable Sharing activity.

ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

The Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act and 28 USC 524 (c) requires that the audited annual financial statements for the Assets Forfeiture Fund (AFF) and the Seized Asset Deposit Fund (SADF) be made available to the public at the end of each fiscal year.

The financial statements present the financial position of the U.S. Department of Justice Assets Forfeiture Fund and Seized Asset Deposit Fund. The financial statements report annual net costs and transactions, changes in net position, budgetary resources, and program activities of DOJ Asset Forfeiture Program components and other participating agencies.
