Emerging Infections Program Sites
The Emerging Infections Program (EIP) is a collaboration between CDC and 10 state health departments working with academic partners to conduct active population-based surveillance and special studies for several emerging infectious diseases with special emphasis on infectious diseases related to the key EIP activities. The EIP sites, funded through a cooperative agreement, are designed to foster relationships between local public health departments and academic centers. Below is a map of the 10 EIP sites, click on the state to link to the state’s EIP website.
