Summary
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing for public comment a draft remediation plan (called a Statement of Basis) for the US Steel Mon Valley Works – Fairless Hills (Facility). The Statement of Basis details ongoing and expected cleanup activities at Fairless Hills facility. EPA is proposing this remedy under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, as amended (RCRA).
