COVID-19 Vaccine Planning - ADPH has submitted its COVID-19 Vaccination Plan to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and released the Alabama COVID‐19 Vaccination Allocation Plan which defines populations and the order in which they will receive vaccine in four phases.

K-12 COVID-19 School Dashboard - The Alabama State Department of Education and ADPH have created an online reporting system to help monitor COVID-19 in K-12 public schools. The reporting system allows school nurses the ability to update the number of reported COVID-19 cases within the school system on a weekly basis.

“Share Your Smile with Alabama” Statewide Photo Contest - The ADPH Oral Health Office announces the 4th Annual “Share Your Smile with Alabama” statewide photo contest. Submit your third grade student's photo by November 30! Two winners will be highlighted in marketing campaigns to promote children’s oral health and will be featured in a news conference on January 29, 2021.

COVID-19 Testing Sites - Our COVID-19 Data and Surveillance Dashboard and COVID-19 Table provides a list of testing sites. These facilities have reported to the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) that they are collecting specimens for COVID-19. This lists and dashboard map may not reflect all collection sites in Alabama. Call the testing site for additional information before visiting or call 1-800-270-7268 for testing sites and hours of operation near you.
Infant Mortality Virtual Summit - The Alabama Department of Public Health and Alabama Healthy Start Grantees will present the virtual summit "Examining the Roots: The Impact of Maternal Mortality on Infant Mortality” on September 9. This year’s summit will explore the connection between women’s health and healthy birth outcomes; the state of rural health care for women; and COVID-19, health and mortality in Alabama.
