Global Noncommunicable Diseases
Today, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), are responsible for 7 out of 10 of deaths worldwide, with 85% of premature NCD deaths occurring in low- and middle-income countries. Along with our global partners, CDC is working to reduce the impact of NCDs like cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and injury.
