Climate Adaptation Science Centers
Education
The CASC network is committed to supporting young and early-career scientists and managers conduct research on the impacts of climate change on fish and wildlife; develop skills in science communications and stakeholder engagement; and build a network of peers to support their career development. Below are examples of education and training programs offered by our network.
CASC Network Climate Adaptation Scholars Program
The CASC network is providing management-relevant research on the effects of climate change to fish, wildlife and ecosystems through a nationally coordinated postdoctoral research program.
Science to Action Fellowship
The Science to Action Fellowship program supports graduate students in developing a product that puts science into action, directly applying scientific research related to climate change impacts on fish, wildlife, or ecosystems to decision making about natural resources.
