About

The mission for the Center for Preparedness and Response (CPR) is heavily dependent on engaging outside partners to maximize resources and overall impact. To meet the challenges posed by a catastrophic incident we must take a whole communityexternal icon approach bringing together all levels of government as well as the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and individuals. Forging strategic alliances with a broad group of diverse stakeholders is critical as we work to keep America safe from all health, safety, and security threats. Especially in these challenging economic times, health security is a national challenge that calls for a national solution.

In light of this, the Partnerships Team advances CPR’s mission by coordinating engagements with Centers, Institutes, and Offices (CIOs) across CDC, other federal departments and agencies, and non-governmental organizations including non-profit organizations, trade associations, academic and research institutions, and the private sector.
