NHTTAC offers organizational scholarships for survivor inclusion to agencies hosting conferences or events that wish to provide scholarships to survivors of human trafficking who have at least one (1) year of experience working with other survivors and/or populations at risk of human trafficking. Scholarships are awarded to enhance the recipient’s ability to deliver a public health response to human trafficking.
Organizational Scholarships for Survivor Professional Development
Up to $1,000 may be awarded to an organization to provide scholarships covering some or all transportation and lodging expenses for survivors of human trafficking with at least one year of experience working or volunteering with human trafficking survivors or populations at risk of human trafficking.
Awards are based on the availability of funding.
Organizations hosting conferences or events that wish to provide scholarships to survivors of human trafficking who have at least one (1) year of experience working with other survivors and/or populations at risk of human trafficking. Scholarships are awarded to enhance the recipient’s ability to deliver a public health response to human trafficking.
Your organization must be engaged with work that is aligned with the Office on Trafficking in Persons’ (OTIP) mission.
To qualify for an award, the organization must:
The event must be statewide or nationwide in scope and audience.
The organization must waive any registration fees for the scholarship recipient.
NHTTAC is federally prohibited from providing technical assistance that may be used to participate in, support, or advocate for the legalization or practice of prostitution.
Scholarship recipients must be survivors of human trafficking with at least one year of experience working or volunteering with human trafficking survivors and/or populations at risk of human trafficking.

Organizations are encouraged to use the least costly mode of transportation to and from the event. Rental car services are not reimbursable under any circumstances.
The organization must waive any registration fees for the scholarship recipient.

The completed application and all supporting materials must be received at least 90 days prior to the event.
An organizational scholarship for survivor inclusion may only be granted once within a 12-month period from the start date of its conference.
