Prosecutors who partner with the FTC get significant results. In FY 2020 prosecutors:
- Relied on FTC information and support to charge thirty-nine new defendants;
- Obtained twenty-four convictions or guilty pleas in new or pending cases;
- Obtained sentences against fifteen individuals in new or pending cases.
Since the CLU’s launch in 2003, prosecutors have relied on FTC information and support to charge more than one thousand defendants.
