Service Announces Waterfowl Hunting Season 2015 -2016 FrameworksThe Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuge is unique in that it encompasses the entire Connecticut River watershed in four New England states. The Service has proposed a comprehensive conservation plan for managing the landscape-scale refuge. The preferred management alternative would balance managing natural resources for wildlife while continuing to offer people the opportunity to hunt, fish, bird watch and enjoy wildlife on refuge lands. The draft plan is available for public comment for 60 days. |
