In addition to our world-class research, we develop the software for some of the fastest, most powerful computer systems in the world: systems that are enabling scientists to tackle problems previously considered infeasible.

Munson selected for DOE Project Leadership Institute

Todd Munson, a senior computational scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory, has been selected to participate in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Project Leadership Institute (PLI).

The researchers received 585,000 node-hours of computing time on the Summit supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The project was one of 51 selected competitively based on their potential to advance scientific discovery.
