Charting a Course for Economic Mobility and Responsible Parenting

In August 2020, OCSE awarded Section 1115 grants for the Charting a Course for Economic Mobility and Resposible Parenting project to 8 state child support agencies in Colorado, Iowa, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Texas.

The two-year demonstration project will allow grantees to leverage the child support program’s responsible parenting expertise to educate and motivate teens and young adults to postpone parenthood until after they complete their education, start a career, and have a committed relationship.
