    •  The DLA Acquisition community is looking for Manufacturers who are interested in the opportunity to participate in the “Understanding DLA Land and Maritime Value Management (Engineering) Workshop.” The topics to be covered include: Alternate Offers, Source Approval Requests (SAR), Breakout Program, Parts Purchase or Borrow Program, and Value Engineering, October 18, 2012 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus, in Columbus, Ohio. Although all small and other businesses are invited to take part in this session, Small Businesses who has previously tried to submit, or is ready to submit, a SAR package are especially welcome and encouraged to participate. Manufacturers interested in the technical perspective of Alternate Offers, Source Approval Requests (SAR), Breakout, Parts Purchase or Borrow, and Value Engineering Programs, must first fill out and register for the October TKO, located at: http://www.landandmaritime.dla.mil/News/Events/tko/default.aspx (Select: 18 Oct Special Session on the dropdown for “Seminar Date”).
