Details:

The FBI's Washington Field Office is assisting the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office by asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for an attempted robbery.  On January 26, 2020, at approximately 3 a.m., the suspect entered the Exxon gas station located at 22605 Glenn Drive, Sterling, Virginia, and attempted to purchase cigarettes. When asked for identification, the suspect implied he had a weapon, threatened the clerk, and demanded cash.

 

The suspect was described as a Black male in his late teens to early 20s, 6’0” tall, with a heavy build.  He was last seen wearing a blue lightweight jacket, gray “jogger” style pants, black/red/yellow gloves - possibly with a Maryland flag pattern, and gray running shoes with neon green or yellow laces.  He was also wearing a gray/black stocking cap and a gray-patterned scarf to obscure his face.  The subject was seen at the scene in the vehicle pictured above.
