Founder, President & CEO - Rick Miller
A true visionary, Rick started in the recruitment industry over thirty years ago and quickly adapted technology to the needs of his clients, building resume databases to find the right match for each of them. He founded Adicio in 1997, designing and programming Adicio’s first careers product, CareerCast. Rick also developed Adicio’s original Ad (Job) Wrapping/Scrapping platform. As a leading edge innovator in online recruitment, it may come as a surprise to many that Rick is a self-taught programmer whose technical skills include background with RDBMS, intelligent text retrieval/search engines, web crawlers/spiders and data parsing in Linux and Unix environments. He created some of the first SaaS online recruitment products in the mid-1990s, and those products are the foundation of today’s Adicio platform. He has managed product design and development, including market research, pricing strategies, and competitive analysis, as well as accurately determining the overall viability of product/service offerings. Basically, he has done it all.
Rick also has extensive experience in investor relations, including management, and reporting and overseeing investment in large cap companies, even leveraging an investment with some of those same companies. Being the multi-talented man that he is, he has also developed and executed staffing plans in areas from technology to sales to finance, building Adicio from the ground up.
Chief Revenue Officer - Bob Miller
As Chief Revenue Officer, Bob is responsible for development and sales, customer support, and integrating, aligning and coordinating all revenue-related functions. He enjoys helping Adicio clients maximize their profits by drawing on his decades of experience in the field of recruiting and advertising, especially digital advertising.
Bob began his career by earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois. That educational experience launched him into several successful business endeavors. He has been the president of Robert Miller & Associates and a partner at Miller, Roberts and Richards, both technical search firms. When Bob was given the choice of winters in Illinois or San Diego, the decision was not very difficult. Golfing year round is a great benefit of the Southern California area. Now, while enjoying the San Diego climate, Bob continues to utilize both his educational and professional experiences at Adicio, providing unique guidance to the company’s clients, steering them to the best solutions for their advertising and recruiting problems.
SVP, Systems & Development - Ryan Casebier
Ryan is something of an anomaly in the highly competitive world of Information Technology. After graduating from California State University San Marcos where he earned his bachelor of science degree in business management (emphasis in high tech management) he was hired by Adicio with virtually no professional experience, during an economic downturn. That speaks to his personal qualifications as a reliable and capable Manager Systems Administrator. After starting at Adicio in IT support, Ryan’s hard work, problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and reliability soon earned him his current management position, overseeing all tech center operations.
Since the nature of his position requires many unexpected hours away from home and family handling tech-related emergencies, Ryan tends to live a rather non-technical lifestyle when away from work, shunning computer time at home in favor of relationship time with his family. He also enjoys snowboarding, following the Los Angeles Chargers, and finding new microbrew sources of fine craft beer.
