The U.S. Attorney's Office educates neighborhood and civic groups about mortgage fraud scams that take advantage of consumers in danger of losing their homes. To learn more about this consumer initiative or to schedule a presentation for your group, click here. Groups will learn tips such as how to identify "mortgage assistance relief scams," how to identify deceptive mortgage ads, and how to avoid predatory lending.
