What Questions Does NAEP Ask?

• After each assessment, a representative sample of questions are released to the public in the NAEP Questions Tool. This tool contains a wealth of information you can use in your classroom. Use these resources to learn how:
  • A short video preview introduces the features of the tool;

  • A tutorial video provides detailed instructions on the available features.

• Try Test Yourself to sample a small set of released questions, and see how your knowledge compares to students across the nation.
• With each assessment, NAEP asks non-cognitive questions to gather information from students, their teachers, and school principals about their academic environments.
