Gift Ocean Restoration This Season

Help reverse climate change this season by giving the gift of kelp restoration! Over 75% of kelp forests in Santa Monica Bay have declined over the last 100 years. The Bay Foundation, with support from our partner SeaTrees, works to directly restore kelp forests and protect the health of our ocean. Every square foot of giant kelp you help restore creates critical habitat for hundreds of species and sequesters carbon! Learn more

COVID-19 Update

To do our part and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, The Bay Foundation is following guidelines from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.  Accordingly, all volunteer in-person events have been canceled through November. When possible, meetings or trainings will be held through virtual formats.  Check our social media and website for the most up to date event info.  For any questions regarding upcoming events, please reach out to us by phone or email.  Thank you for doing your part to help flatten the curve.  Stay safe, stay well.
