Key Functions

  • Solicits, negotiates, awards, and administers biomedical and behavioral research and development (R&D) contracts, contracts in support of R&D, station support contracts, and simplified acquisitions
  • Manages the NIAID procurement processes
  • Develops NIAID-specific acquisition policies and procedures
  • Provides expert business management and acquisition support
