Our Hotline is dedicated to preventing child abuse and supporting abused children. It is primarily funded by individuals and companies like you, and has given assistance to more than 2 million callers.
Childhelp is currently seeking cause-minded corporations and caring individuals to sponsor the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline. Sponsors will directly impact the future of children who otherwise may have no one else to call. Childhelp is committed to the ethical stewardship of all resources entrusted to our mission.
For each dollar expended, over 90 cents is invested into serving the children in need of our services. Administration and fundraising efforts are covered by 9.6 cents of every dollar.
Staff the hotline with highly qualified and caring counselors.
Increase awareness of this life-saving resource.
Provide future services like text-for-help and online chat.
And of course, answer every single call from a child in need.
In 2018, 93,421 calls and texts were received.
80% of incoming calls involve a current or potential child abuse situation.
71% of calls required intervention services.
