NSAW Emergency Management
The EM Program uses an integrated systems approach to provide a collective, proactive EM effort that focuses on preventing, deterring, planning for, responding to, and mitigating the effects of man-made and natural emergencies to DoN personnel, their families, facilities, resources, installations, and infrastructure critical to Region and DoN mission accomplishment. The NSAW EM Program will support and provide:
- Guidance and support in matters in relation to the EM Program for commands that the CO has responsibility for.
- Procedures to respond to and recover from an emergency should they occur.
- Personnel with training and an understanding of the threat and their personal EM responsibilities.
