The Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) is designed to assist military personnel and their families with the challenges of a mobile military lifestyle. We understand that neither awareness nor expectation lessens the stress of moving.
To ease the stress, here are things you can do to make your move easier, and perhaps even fun!
Contact your command sponsor and obtain your command Welcome Aboard Package.
Identify your command ombudsman.
Contact your local Fleet and Family Support Center for further information, questions or concerns which you and your family have which may not have been addressed such as:
- Welcome Aboard Packets and information about other bases worldwide
- Housing (if you have not already made arrangements)
- Loan locker of household items
- Local School and Community Information
